A theory on offense re: Skyler Green & Mike Clayton...

I can't think of anything that whould convince Clayton to declare for the draft quicker than the thought that Randall would be the starting quarterback next year. I still have mental picrures of the frustration on Claytons face, last year, when he would be ten yards in the clear and Randall would throw the ball ten feet over his head.

If Mauck gives up his senior year, there is no way a healthy Russell doesn't beat out Randall. Russell will start as either a redshirt freshman or redshirt sophmore...one or the other. It depends on Mauck's decision only.

 

How can you just dismiss Flynn? I mean, maybe Russell is everything that's advertised, but if you don't give Flynn a look, you've done harm to the program.
