    What do you mean?
The government already interfered with this issue or abortions would still be illegal.
Everybody knows the supreme court ruling was based on bad law, even some of the opposition openly admitted it.

Even if the law is changed, abortions will still happen. I don't advocate gov't interference. I just try to show the ignorant the error of their ways.

But it's not a "personal family issue" because it's murder, you just don't seem to get it.

Ok, so it's a human in an altered physical state. In that sense an amputee can't be considered a human. Whoever is different than "normal" person isn't human?

The embryo has a real life. Again, it's choise and personal responsibility. I am pro-choice, as long as the "choice" is made prior to conception. Where do you hold a woman responsible?

Well, I am torn on this issue(abortion). I am personally against it because I do think it is a sustainable life. Being born and having a tax ID seems to be the benchmark for some people, but it isn't for me. I also think a man's feelings should be considered in this decision, but ultimately it is a woman's decision because she is most directly affected.

Let's face it, if men could get pregnant, you would probably be able to get an abortion in a drive thru. The idea of men legislating this issue bothers me more than anything congress does. Govt. involvement doesn't fill me with faith on this one.

A woman has the absolute right to make decisions about her own body - until another body becomes part of the decision. The right to swing your arm ends where the other fellow's nose begins. Even if it is a fetal nose.

the mother (or any woman, or any person) does not even have the right to damage themselves. why should they have the right to abort a pregnancy?

I just don't believe any but the most extreme are against abortion when the health of the mother is in jeopardy. I doubt the majority oppose abortion in the case of rape. Red believes this to be the case, though. Is anyone against abortions in either of these cases?

Unless the health of the mother is at risk or the father is a deadbeat, I don't see why an abortion should be allowed if both parents don't consent. I suppose proving that the father is a deadbeat may be a problem.

I doubt we'd be having drive-through abortions if men carried the child. The sanctity of life would still be an issue.
