Of course. Otherwise there'd be no problems. I work for my money and don't feel sorry for anyone who doesn't. Survival of the fittest. It's just too bad that the liberals allow the weak to breed.

Again your thinking is archaic. What exactly is survival of the fittest anymore? The strongest? The smartest? The most wealthy? etc etc.

And what exactly are you now surviving from...

I, personally, feel that I am surviving a possible attack from either one of these POS, that is if they really keep that other bastid in prison for the rest of his life. And I hate the fact that we will pay to feed, clothe, provide medical treatment that he probably could not have afforded, provide tv etc. I say let his family pay for the extras he gets or let him do without. I would use ceiling fans, no a/c.

I toured the federal prison at Eglin Air Force base. The POS live in separate petitioned rooms, a/c, tv, are allowed to work odd jobs on base without supervision, and have visitors on the grounds. There is a room there where they can check out fishing gear. The prison has a small bay by it. They can fish there. There are grills on the sand, so they can cook their catch. There is a bandroom where they can check out any instruement they want and play their music. There is a lighted softball field and a lighted minature golf course. They could leave if they want but few do. If you run and are caught, you usually go to Atlanta and that's a whole different story.

I guess this is one of the most horrible aspects of being a liberal. They wanna end the death-penalty for murderous monsters and then allow abortion for innocent babies. Filthy, absolutely disgusting.

You just contradicted yourself imo, how can you advocate for judging someone and killing them, when the bible says vengence is the Lords and forgiveness is the key to salvation. (I am not against the death penalty)

But you are for ending abortion and imposing medical limits on a womens choice and medical health. ( I am not for or against abortions, its a womens personal choice)

I just dont get that, could you explain it to me, the logic behind this moral contradiction.

Seriously this is a question, I would like an answer to, I just dont understand it.

I don't believe the bible is against societies governing themselves and punishing those that infringe upon the rights of others. It seems I've heard people say the bible does not condemn execution if done for the right reasons.

Still doesnt answer the question, the bible states that you shouldnt judge others. Execution is a form of vengeance is it not?

im sure theyd come back with "render unto caeser what is caeser's"--cop out.

for the record, i consider myself a liberal, but loathe abortion. i often wonder though, how many of the pro-lifers have wives that use birth control that prevents implantation?

Sanctimonious, ideological, self-righteous conservatives want to bring unwanted children into the world, but are not lining up to adopt them. They want to impose their own narrow religious views upon everyone else. Worse, they want to bring government interference into long-held personal family and religious matters.

They claim to be "pro-life" when they support no "life" issues at all save for opposing a mothers Constitutional right to choose. They oppose any public welfare to support these unwanted children, of course. As is obvious from the post above, they enthusiastically support the death penalty while opposing the "sin" of abortion. Somehow aborting a fetus in its third trimester is disgusting but but killing a human being in his 128th trimester is heroic.

Liberals and conservatives spend too much time trying to paint their opponents as evil and attribute all that is "bad" to them. Both sides are forced to follow the party line on each and every issue. They make each other the enemy while our real foreign enemies run free.

Moderates are free to make pragmatic choices, not based on party ideology, which is why I can say I support BOTH choice AND the death penalty. The solutions to most problems are found in the middle, not at the extremes. And sometimes the pragmatic path leads to the left AND ALSO to the right.
