1. All I know is that he has the second best record since...

Vaught was there, can't belive they fired him after one losing season. He has also been the coach that has spurred the biggest donor period in their history as well.

This is a list of the coaches at Ole Miss since Vaught came on board. Seems to me like he should that Cut should not have been fired.

    John H. Vaught
    1947- 1973 190 61 12 0.745
    Billy R. Kinard
    1971- 1973 16 9 0 0.640
    Ken Cooper
    1974-1977 23 0 0.477
    Steve Sloan
    1978-1982 20 34 1 0.373
    Billy Brewer
    1983-1993 68 55 3 0.552
    Joe Lee Dunn
    1994-1994 4 7 0 0.364
    Tommy Tuberville
    1995-1998 25 20 0 0.556
    David Cutcliffe
    1998-2003 40 22 0 0.645

He had a better winning percentage than Tubby and they were upset when he left.
  2. Ole Miss

The worst part of this whole deal is all the talk that Ole Miss made after the Tubberville fiasco about "loyalty" and getting the man that wanted to be at Ole Miss.

    Now look.
  3. However, Cutcliffe did express in the Kentucky job in 02 I believe it was. I think I read where he even asked permission to talk with them. I could be wrong on that, not sure. But hat tells me he was at some sort of odds with the administration for some time, not just recently.
  4. I was just responding to a quote in another post.
  5. correct...I heard that Boone has been pissed at Cut ever since.
