I understand what you're saying, I can see it from yalls point of view. Generally, stated with sarcastic humor, you think the whole COVID thing is a made up crock of shit by the reptilian shapeshifting democrates to steal your freedom/money/Power and to fuck over Trump minions. And since I don't buy into this idea I'm a one of the stupid fuckhead clueless sheep. Now please try to do the same, see it through someone else's eyes. I have family and friends that are dead who would be alive today if they hadn't had COVID. One of them had other health issues, but she had lived with cancer for over a year. I feel sure she would be us at Christmas this year if she hadn't gotten COVID this year. My daughter works in the emergency room of the Dallas Children's hospital. And when she and other hospital workers tell me stories about COVID cases taking all the space and resources how it has impacted them it coincides with what I see and read in news sources. And when my next door neighbor told me he had to delay an important medical procedure because all the hospital beds were full of COVID I believed him. So when I compare my personal experiences to the posts here that say basically that all the worldwide health agencies are in cahoots with Democrats, RINOs, and all Washington bureaucrats I come to a different conclusion. I agree with you that one side of that equation is a crock of shit, its just the other side. There are multiple shepherds leading flocks of sheep on both sides of the discussion. I agree the media coverage can be a bit much I just change the channel. So with respect to onceans educational post, it was respectful, detailed and well intentioned. But I'm just as skeptical of his unnamed data source as he is of the health agencies. Since I believe most of the 700K+ Americans would be alive today if they hadn't gotten COVID, I do see it as a big killer. That death count is more than the total American combat deaths in all wars so I expect it to be on the news. And while your right oncean wasn't withholding treatment or proposing policy I was trying to point out that that type of data analysis is exactly what would be used as basis of those types of decisions. So from my point of view, he was dismissing COVID death importance.
Apparently, you don't get it. I don't think one person here has said COVID is made up. Most of us know people that have had it and died from it too. What we're (or what I'm) saying is that its a biological engineered virus that's been weaponized by politicians to steal freedom/money/power. YUGE difference then denying it's existence altogether. And yes, the total number of Americans who have died from it is a big number and is tragic, but a) I believe those numbers to be inflated and b) its a small fraction of the total population, so that measures that have been and are being taken (lockdowns that resulted in small businesses being bankrupted, forced vaccines, ect) are overreaches that have done nothing to stop the spread.
That is what they don't or refuse to understand. When you cut all of the bullshit out of the inflated numbers this thing is reduced to nothing. Certainly nowhere near the level of mandating shit like they are doing. Some just lack the capacity to see it for what it really is, a power grab.

I'm going to go total paranoid conspiracist here, and say its more than a power grab, its a test. How much can they get away with, and how much will we sit still for?
I'd say that is what it started as. They quickly learned that America is filled with cowards and gullible sheep that will swallow just about anything fed to them as long as you say "its for the greater good".
