going to the mound cold and tossing a strike really isnt a that easy for a non pitcher. a buddy and i stepped out the distance recently and tried to match bush's performance, and it is no simple task. i can throw a nice solid strike with velocity, but maybe not first try, cold, in yankee stadium. i gotta believe the percentage of men his age who can do that is tiny. hell, half the mets bullpen cant do it. bush kicks ass.
There is a documentary called 9 innings and 9/11 or something of that sort playing on HBO. Bush actually went into the underground batting cages and warmed up, and Jeter came up to him and said he had better throw a strike or New York would boo. Well, he threw it right down broadway :thumb: By the way crawfish - you have quite the Bush collection....and you call me obsessed :rofl:
well he's had months to collect them but since hes a liberal he was waiting for the government to send him a guide on how to post 'em. I decided to show him so we wouldn't have to be taxed for it. Now, I regret it.
