Wait ... best LSU games? I mean I'll admit it had my heart racing, but I like to see us play better.

Johnny Interception doesn't have shit on Newton, but he did get shit on by the LSU defense.

The first quarter was all him. After that, nada. He no Cam or Tebow.

Or... aTm is no Auburn/Florida. I bet aTm paid a lot less for him than Auburn paid for $cam New-caddy.

I don't know. I was pretty impressed by Johnny Football. He threw some INTs, but several were tipped. He passed better than I thought he would. And that 3rd and 13 run for a first down was praiseworthy for sure, as were some other escapes. Dude can play. LSU's D rose to the occasion about midway in the 2nd and for the most part contained him much better. But Johnny F and their WRs were still impressive, I thought.

Yes. You can just look at the overall stats and TOs and question that. But, considering he is a Freshman QB on a team w/a new HC w/a new scheme, is not a big guy (ala Tebow), I was pretty impressed. He has a natural football instinct, passes better than I personally expected, and is elusive. It was only his second game against a top tier SEC defense. Not bad really. You better believe we'll hear more about him as he matures. When I watched him, and not just look at his end game stats, I was impressed.

Well, I'd take him over Mett.

He is elusive and can hit a target. I'll give him that. But he's not likely to find the success that Cam or Tebow did because his frame will not be able to support it.

Would I take him over Mett? Yep.

Was he the better QB on the field yesterday? Or did he lose the game for his team?

I think it was more LSUs D won it. He was facing a much much stronger D than Mett was. I hate to imagine what our O would have looked like if the faggies had a real D.
