Oh there is absolutely no doubt. Unfortunately we know what we have with the offense and it is forever mired by the grass eating boob. We can only hope to improve on D

I saw where a radio station had reported it as a done deal.

Yep. But here we are again, talking about a shitty O.

    Gets old.

The D looked so much better from start to finish of the season.

Wish we could say the same about the O.

That's my point. I don't think it's fair to blame those 2 losses at home on Chavis. We have any type of offense for 4 quarters we win.

The shitty O aside, the Bama losses fall squarely on the shoulders of Chavis. The difference between the Ole Miss game and the Bama game was that LSU stayed aggressive. Against Bama he went back to that stupid prevent D. LSU has lost the Clemson, Ole Miss, UGA, and both Bama games for sure over the last three years because of his prevent D. Happens once, fine. When it is continual then it is an issue falling on the DC and ultimately the HC.

If LSU plays the same aggressive way against Bama and they still pull off the win I'm fine with it.

So broken tackles, poor coverage and missed assignments are Chavis' fault?

dont sweat the technique (song, shane). it was the technique now its the offense. cant be coaching. see this is what happens, you can blame anything but the LSU coaching except for one. sunspots, moon phases, the taliban and les' offensive coordinator of the moment. he even gets blamed for the defense. tough gig.

The players were horrible on that Yeldon catch. As a whole though those losses were in large part because of the uber conservative defensive schemes. LSU gave them huge cushions and free yards. There was absolutely no pressure coming. A complete abandonment of what was previously working. So yes, it falls on Chavis.
