Thats true, but Atm has had more success in previous years taking players from LA

But you have a point and those were more than likely players were going to end up at La Tech or Tulane rather than LSU

Exactly. aTm doesn't get ANY kids LSU wants. LSU gets a bunch that they want. A couple years ago, they thought they were getting Fobbs, Boone, and Wright. They got none. Then we embarassed them on 1/8/11 on national TV. That didn't help their already lost cause.

Ya, we dont want to lose players like that. Why doesnt Atm just go to the Big East with TCU, that will beef up the BE a little

You have to realize what you're saying here. IF aTm can grow it's program, even then, the only way it gets ugly for LSU is if LSU falls completely off the map.

If you're like me, you're probably a long time LSU fan. I think LSUs supremacy is still 'new' to long time Tiger fans. But realistically, LSU is one of the top 5 programs nationally in the past 10+ years. These are 17 year old kids that only know LSU as a powerhouse. Those same kids only know aTm as pitiful to mediocre.

There is nothing good about A&M coming to the SEC. It doesn't benefit LSU in any way.

TAMU couldn't handle the Big East. Once they had their first game in the snow they would run back to the Big XII-2.
