Kicking their ever-loving Aggie a$$e$ like we did in the Cotton bowl more than takes care of that! Can't let another team scare you off from targeting recruits from their state. The way I see it, an SEC-based team in Texas doesn't hurt our Texas recruiting any more than it does LSU plucking the likes of Patrick Peterson, Ali Highsmith and the busload of other Florida-based recruits right out from the Gators, 'Noles and 'Canes' noses! Gators, indians and hurricanes can't stop the Mad Hatter from getting players from Florida, so he sure as hell isn't scared of Aggies in Texas!
Red, this thread is about aTm "considering move to sec". And FWIW, IIRC, the invitation has already been extended...unless the SEC has suddenly changed their mind.
ESPN is reporting that it's a done deal. It's not on their website yet, so no link, but I just heard it on SportsCenter. Wonder who the 12th team will be. Fla St. is denying the rumor; at least publicly, but that doesn't mean much. Also said Missouri and Clemson are in consideration.
F*CK Well at least they are bringing a strong team to the conference. errr Well at least it will be a fun place to visit for away games. errr Welll at least they have awesome local food. errr Well at least their women are hot. errr Well at least they throw a great party. errr Nevermind. A&M sucks and they are uptight homosexuals with big brother dick envy. They are so boring they almost become interesting. Almost. Thanks Mike Slive you fargin pinhead. The SEC just attained a slight sour fart odor.
If adding two more teams to the SEC would mean the networks would have two more options (teams) for day games...AND...if that meant they would leave us alone to play at NIGHT in Tiger Stadium...I would vote for them to join. If adding two teams meant we would play even more STUPID ASS day games...then I vote NO!
