A lot of people in Louisiana want LSU to go to the Sugar Bowl

    I couldn't give two sh!ts about Florida and what they deserve. The best thing for LSU is is all I care about and that's the Rose Bowl.

    I don't know, playing Notre Dame in the Sugar Bowl would be almost as sweet . . . and certainly a cheaper trip for many in Louisiana. It's hard for LSU fans to complain about a situation where our bowl cascade is Rose-Sugar-Orange instead of Cotton-Cap One-Peach.

    I'm phucking p!$$ed that we're not getting a shot at Michigan. I can already hear all the talking heads minimizing our bowl game victory

    After throttling USC
    • Was USC really that good to begin with? They lost 2 games to unranked opponents and struggled against teams the SEC crushed. LSU should have won this game because USC isn't all that great this year.
    After prison-raping Notre Dame
    • Notre Dame isn't a big time power yet. They have lost every game they have played against ranked opponents over the last 2 years. They are only getting the reognition because they are Notre Dame. Charlie Weiss has them heading the right direction, but they aren't there yet.
    I'm going on a limb and predicting that when we win our bowl game, they will downsize the signifigance of it.

    LSU fans should not hope UF gets in the championship...

    here's why...

    the polls are done by humans, not computers, and they have feelings like "guilt".

    If UF gets in this year, and LSU is in the same position next year, there's no guilt. The rationale is "we just sent an SEC team last year, this year it's USC's turn again". The guilt factor is even higher if UM gets blown out by OSU, and/or UF trounces ND.

    when it's LSU's time again in the same situation, I want maximum pollster guilt in our corner.
