1. On the contrary to props from espn - Corso just said LSU is not a great team and does not belong in the nc game.

  2. Digress back to my earlier post...its whichever way the wind blows...Besides "sc**w" him!
  3. They were right in a few statements. LSU isn't as fast or as good as Florida from last year. I think OSU's d-line will dominant LSU's offensive line therefore controling the tempo of the game and LSU's defense will be on the field longer than they want and getting tired out sooner. And in the Tulane game LSU proved they weren't as quick on the Dome turf as expected.

My opinion of the game and it's not a popular one is LSU will come to this game a little more arrogant and laxed than they should. LSU's ST and penalties are going to kill them because we all know the ST can't tackle and LSU has a bullseye as for be watched for penalties. LSU's oline has been suspect all season and OSU wins the battle of the trenches on offense making MF and RP beat them with their arms and Early Doucet just gave BB material for the Buckeyes secondary, which Early hasn't been all that great this year. LSU's defense will played hard as usual but OSU's run game and short passes will tire them out. My final thoughts of the game is LSU winning this game only in the eyes of the public and come into this game thinking they have already won before playing because of false perceptions made about opinions of the SEC talent and OSU comes into NO quietly and goes back to Columbus with the crystal.

    OSU 31
    LSU 27
  4. I think you are the only LSU fan to pick against LSU. I think it will be a very close game but I still feel LSU will win.
  5. Mike in Memphis will disagree with that because of some of my previous posts...

I will agree with P&G Fan to a certain degree if LSU puts up a performance like they did vs. Kentucky and Arkansas in which case it's:
    OSU 31
    LSU 24

I am worried about Pelini and believe his is the wildcard for this game. He puts a prevent defense like he did vs. Arky we are in trouble..
  6. I don't think that D-Mac and Felix play for OSU...Jesus!!!!
  7. Duh! Pelini also pulled the prevent vs. Kentucky and Auburn too and Auburn offense is worse the OhSU. I wouldn't have to worry about Pelini's gameplan if those games were called and played different...
We know what Crowton will bring, but Pelini...no telling!
  8. :geaux: :crystal: :helmet: I was watching the Gameday crew earlier today and Corso came out & said he didn't think LSU was a quality team and that the Tigers didn't belong in the NC game. He said it at least twice that I can remember. Even Herbie disagreed with him, saying in his opinion LSU was a quality team that had been tested many times throughout the year. Corso said that since the Tigers lost 2 games and had 4 others close that they weren't deserving! If anyone else saw this, I think they would agree it would be tremendous bullitin board stuff!!!:geauxtige :champs: :LSU231:
  9. I'd rather have an OSU player say that instead of Corso.
  10. :geaux: :crystal: :helmet: Agree that if the defense plays as they did in the Ark. and Kentucky game we will lose. Having said that, I don't think that will be the case. The defense will be well rested, healed up and ready to play closer to the level they did in the VT game to prove they are better than what they showed in the latter half of the season. Also, I don't think Pelini will be conservative at all. I believe he wants an NC ring as much as the players and will be very agressive when the situation calls for it. Believe this game will be close, but I pick the Tigers to come out on top.
