I wonder why it's called that. I'm trying to figure out why. Maybe they show Jaime stabbing Aerys in a flashback? They are definitely showing the tower of joy with odd looking young Ned.
Probably a mix across story lines with so many angels..Snow's oath to Nights Watch, Bran flashback scenes that u mentioned, Daenerys marriage oath to live in widow prison (something up with Daario, why is he really there), twist in storyline involving Oathkeeper and Sansa and Arya battle of letting her list and family go, Greyjoy turmoil, Reek and Ramsey, fallout of Rob Stark and Karstarks (Northern Houses going against the Stark bloodlines). Tried to find something in each story line but needs work.
Jon's oath the NW is fulfilled though, I thought about the Oathkeeper part. In the books Brienne at this point is actually hunting Jaime so that's intriguing. Ramsay doesn't give a shit, all things including previews point to him going to Castle Black and big battle between the Boltons and Karstarks vs Castle Black.
Not sure what the great other is...but I did see one where they think he was a warg into Lyanna's White Horse.
The Great Other is the Enemy of The Lord of Light, and basically the god of the white walkers also known as The Others. So Melisandre knows this God's name and won't speak it, the theory is his name is Hodor, and Hodor is luring Bran into the his clutches. Personally I think that's ridiculous, why would he be giving away clues to his identity.
Wouldn't surprise me, a lot of his stuff and JK Rowling and Tolkein, and many other authors base their characters and events on actual historical events and Irish and Norse mythology.
