    I hope this isn't a sign of what our defense will be that's for damn sure.... I hope this was a case of Pellini's plan to stop ASU was just sorely off.

    But the only way we'll know for sure is in two weeks.

    I don't know what defense we were running. But to think we were trying to stay under the radar I don't buy. Except for not one but two freak special teams plays we have an L not a W.

    Understandable, but if not for however many dropped passes and the special teams wouldn't have had to do that. We'd have easily been looking at a 50+ point game..... right?

    But yes, I agree... Again, I doubt that they were trying to hustle anyone. I tend to think that it was just an off night. Too early to tell...

    I agree except I don't think it was freak special teams play, I think it was better special teams coaching and a greater emphasis on special teams in the spring and fall. VT makes a living off of special teams play and although I don't see us blocking two a game I expect to see a noticable difference. PS How many FG's or PT's did we miss in the ASU game?
