Proud Tiger: It is game week vs you guys. Some of the US troops and German troops got together on Christmas the next day they were back shooting one another.
If your team needs bulletin board material to get fired up for this game somthing is very wrong. 31-7 ought to be enough.
My hope is this: The Tiger crowd comes out louder than ever. The Earthquake game was the first Tiger game that I attended at Tiger Stadium. I was a freshman then. Nothing would please me more than to shake the scales once again. Having said that, I do hope that the Tiger fans can do all of this and keep it within the spirit of the game. I love hearing the stories about how the players couldn't hear themselves think. I love it when the crowd fires up the players and helps them play at that next level. I love the true homefield advantage that is Death Valley. I don't like the stories of physical violence, threats, burning flags, vehicles and other acts of criminal behavior. This game means a lot, but it also means a lot that the Tiger Fans take themselves to another level and act with Pride and Class in spite of what Tubberville might do or say. There is no doubt that TT is a classless coach who has a team that wins in spite of his efforts. I hope that we don't lower ourselves to that level. LSU deserves to win because we are the better team. Now the fans need to learn how to win and not turn it into something else. I personally want the Auburn fans to come back again and again so they can enjoy our atmosphere as our guests even if they have to take a loss to do so.
This will be the most fired up crowd AU has ever seen. I dont think the ones that are coming no what they are about to get into. Yeah, I know most of them have been here before, but this will be the absolute wildest they have ever seen Tiger Stadium. In all probability, it will get down right nasty.
theres no way i am going to get ANY sleep tonight!! I can honestly say that everyone I know is more fired up for this game than the Georgia game or any other I have ever been to....It is going to be wild tomorrow.....and I can't wait!
