LSU QBs get a bad rap, but this is hilarious. I recall @TCUTiger bashing on our offensive woes and talking up TCUs phenomenally coached team and offensive juggernaut. How'd this happen, LOL? https://www.sbnation.com/college-football/2018/12/27/18157269/cal-tcu-cheez-it-bowl-2018
Damn, I quit watching at the half b/c of the interception fest and started watching Deathwish marathon. Now I'm doubting my choice...
it was bad,.. both teams had semi-stout defense,.. and both teams were down to their last string QB's who were just god-awful.
Well I guess it would not take much research to find out......TCU was down to the LAST QB and have had over 20 season ending injuries.......then again if you want more ask that 2014 Peach Bowl Ole Miss and the best defense in the SEC.....you know, the one that beat Alabama, how they enjoyed their 42-3 beat down in that bowl game.....those Ole Miss fans were offering to thier wives and children to just “make it stop”. The TCU bowl game was a pure miracle that they got there, they had to win 3/4 in last month to get eligible. I dont EVER remember LSU losing as many players to season ending injuries. I dont think you will find even 1 TCU fan that would have said Sean Robinson as a 4 star recruit and winning Qb on a Texas 6A football team, would be as bad as he was. Missouri will soon find out. We were sitting at the Alamo Bowl in 2015 after losing Boykin 2 days before the game and watched a team rally back from 31-0 at halftime with a WALK-ON QB that started exactly 1 game in his life, win 47-41. Add Stanford to the list last year.
Yeah, they started the season down something like 20 players. UNC folks complained about injuries all season. I get you’re saying TCU overcame injuries and were fortunate to finish the way they did. For those who don’t follow them, it was a 10-7 OT game with 9 INTs.
