Post-season implications are huge; direction of program, rather than improving, is meh (see terrible offense). This season might not have been a failure, but it was not a resounding win either. Eaux has done this to himself.

Hope we win our bowl and get 10. Confidence level - meh.

 

For all the whining on twitter, the players better come to play.

 

Agreed. Can't blame them for the frustration they must have been feeling after such an emotional game. I'll bet they will be more than ready.

 

theey were not ready for the first half and overtime.

I know we had injuries but lets face it. Our defense was terrible in ot and yes we won the game many times but still that left a bad taste the way they were soft.

 

Can't explain first half but they had a reason for overtime... When you think you won the game, celebrate and dump the coach with Gatorade, it's hard to get back up from that (similar to the horrible call against the canes in 2001)... Shit, I give them credit for making it to 7 overtimes...

 

I think this will hurt then for a while... you have to also remember, most of them don't get paid so they look forward to the upper there bowls because the swag is better... The sugar may give best buy shopping spree, where they can get new electronics (ps4, latest cell phone, etc.), whereas the poulan weed eater bowl gives out free buffet meals or some shit... Also location, one being in New Orleans and one being in Shreveport... Just saying ..

Interesting comment from Orgeron at the very end of this article. He said that the recruits he’s been in touch with thought that LSU should have won the game. Not how I thought they would react.

 

No ones stated the obvious - we lost because Aranda got schooled by Jimbo. It’s not Ensminger, not Burrows, not O, not the Os. Deal with it.

 

In his defense weren't we missing several starters on D?
