Your two for two today ain't ya? It is MY OPINION to dislike his ranting negatively about the LSU TIGERS. And I didn't say he hated the SEC, I said he is showing hatred to us. Yeah they all have their opinions and it seems most of them are not in favor of LSU or the SEC. Earlier this season when Oklahoma played Missouri at home I believe someone said that was the first time in 4 years Oklahoma had played a ranked team at home, granted they play Texas evey year at a neutral site, but just think how their opinions of LSU and the SEC would be if we had only played 1 ranked team at home in the last 4 years.
You have to remember the whole premise of PTI is for them to take opposite sides of a particular argument/debate/issue. If Kornhieser backs LSU/SEC, it's Wilbon's job to take the other side of the debate, regardless of which either really believes. It was probably written out before the show who would take which side....Kornhieser just happened to draw LSU instead of Wilbon. Could have easily been reversed and IMO, Wilbon doesn't deserves to be bashed over this. He very knowledgeable about sports in general unlike the obviously bias types...i.e. spittin lou.
I will have to agree with you, I thought Wilbon was better than most of them on ESPN but the other day I think he brought up LSU's schedule and said Kansas needed to be ahead of them because of Alabama being the toughest game on LSU's road schedule kind of hit me the wrong way, don't talk about our schedule when Kanasa has a schedule like they have. LSU could very well lose 1 of the last 3 games I hope they do not but it could happen i respect his opinon on that but do not put us down due to our schedule.
I don't understand how some of you continue to get worked up over the comments made on these ESPN "debate" shows. What these analysts are saying isn't necessarily what they really think. If they all got on camera and said the same things, constantly agreeing with each other, it wouldn't make for a very entertaining show. ESPN= Entertainment Sports Programming Network. This reaction is exactly the reaction they are looking for. None of these opinions matter very much. Bottom line, if we win out...:crystal:
Yeah, well I do not understand alot of you getting worked up of some of the other issues brought up on this board, each to his own I guess but when they want to discredit LSU it gets me worked up I kind of can't help it right now i am stuck in the middle of Alabama and Tenn. contry so i kind of stay on the defensive for our Tigers around here. FWIW, having watched Chase Daniel play at SL Carroll and win the way he and they did virtually everytime they walked on the field, it is no surprise Missouri is where they are. :geaux: I think they beat Kansas and Oklahoma. Upset special.................take TT over Opew at Lubbock this weekend.
