Any contract talks that mentions a # higher than 5 years in length is a lie...

No state employee can be offered more than a five year "perpetual rollover" contract...

When you've got that kind of money you don't have to shop. Just call and they will send over a selection of whatever it is for you to choose from.

    BigJ4LSU...I think you're right...

The media that do show up to recognize and cover the Bears won't let that sometimes catty attitude fly without skewering him over piping hot coals, either...

From what Saban has said about his lifestyle, I doubt if the deciding factor will be the "culture" in Chicago or the malls there. Apparently Saban spends a lot of his leisure time in his second home in Georgia, so I doubt if the city itself will appeal to him that much.

One would thought on that he might be tempted to consider the Falcons job.

The biggest danger I see is that "good friend" Angelo may put it in such a way that Saban won't want to turn down a personal appeal from him.

The other factor could be that the Bears will give Saban everything he wants--but the road block there is that the Chicago media doesn't think Angelo will give up final power over personnel acquisitions.

I think Saban might want that. Angelo may put it in such a way that Saban might "think" he is getting total control but will get a surprise later.

Depends on who pays him. The University or a non profit orgnization overseen by the AD.
