Hearing CPM talk about this team and players makes me think he is light years ahead of smoke as a coach. He sounds like he is going to be a great one! He really knows his stuff. Also its ridiculous LSU is ranked as low as they are. I think we are ranked in the ~30s. I think we are way under rated.

Mainieri (?sp) is already having an effect. The style of ball he plays and the character and work ethic he demands has sent a few packing. Bertman had a true work ethic when he came (he even had the players painting Alex Box). Hopefully, we'll return to that form.
I don't know if a consensus has really developed yet. So far I like what I see. He expects a lot of his players and sets standards that they have to meet if they expect to start. No one has a lock on a position. It has to be earned. I like that.
You're right. But Rooney seems to be a helluva PC and is better than the best (Canaverri) that we've had in a few years.
