    I've had veterans from Afghanistan and Iraq tell me that they felt like they were training young terrorists.

    Those cultures are doing a fine job of it without any help from us. Don't forget, almost all of the major terrorist acts we've endured happened before the Iraq/Afghan War.

    We are not creating terrorists. Islam is creating terrorists.

    You are correct. But I understand what they're saying. As a child at a young age, you are very impressionable. Regardless of whether or not what we're doing over there is in their best interests, their first memories of the United States consist of us invading their country. That would certainly make it much easier for them to side with the extremist groups at some point down the line.

    We were policing the middle east at the time 9/11 happened. We have been since World War II. We were flying missions over Iraq at the time patrolling the NO FLY zones.

    It did not stop that "kind of thing."
