Re: I thought it was #84 the offensive lineman for GA..

It was #74, although there was another lineman doing it as well, I happened to notice #74 because he was bigger. #84 would be a TE or a WR, not a lineman (getting technical here).
I think they were actually looking to the georgia fans, but we (south endzone fans) took it as a challenge and it sure backfired.

This sounds sort of like - the "Death Valley" statement by Coach Richt.

...On another subject, Richt denied a quote attributed to him by on ESPN's GameDay show by analyst Lee Corso in which the Georgia coach supposedly said the real Death Valley is in Clemson, not LSU.
"I never said that," Richt said. "I saw it when it happened, and when (Corso) said it I thought he just made it up, but I don't know where it came from. I know a lot of times things get put on the Internet that will do things to rile people up, but I never did that."

Great game. LSU is for real. I hope to see you guys again in ten weeks.

    Re:

All day long the UGA players were telling the LSU fans to get louder. After we had scored the final touchdown, when the UGA offense was coming onto the field, their linemen were telling the students to make more noise.

The cockier they are, it gets us louder. I like how they come over to the student section before the game and taunt us. It only sets the attitude for the rest of the game in the student section. John Thompson and Arkansas did the same thing 2 years ago.

Boy we had a lot of choice words for John Thompson

If you do, it will be bitter. The fans at the game were 100% better than then ones hiding behind their computers. But, hey, I guess you earned the right to make personal attacks against UGA. What did you expect, the players to walk on the field, hang their head and show no emotion what so ever?

Man, if you have to critize Billy, you are barking (roaring) up the wrong tree. I will put him up against any kicker in the SEC. I am envious of all of you that never had a bad day.... I am not saying the whole team had a bad day.

You beat us. I was impressed.

I think most of us knew that Richt did not make that statement. At least all of us who knew the Internet is full of garbage...

BUT, we still used it (the fans). Richt is to smart to make a statement like that even if he believes it. Not that it mattered with the team, if our team needed that to get ready for a powerhouse like UGA we got bigger problems.

But the fans jumped on it. Sort of like the Bama fans jumped on that dumb ass rumor started by an LSU fan last year.
    Silly yes..

Rabid .. You do not know the Coach or players very well. I would not use cocky to describe thier actions. We were in a VERY HOSTILE statium (wish we had a homefield advantage like that) and they were doing what they could do to get pumped up. Like I said, earlier, did you expect them to come in like they were going to yoga class?

This team is high class. Better then we have seen in UGA for a long time.
