How about the 2 UGA players that were on the wrong end of the field before LSU kicked-off? Forgot which quarter, but they had to run through the LSU kick-off team and 100 yards to the correct endzone.
They way the TV guys talk about kickers they are all head cases. Kicking is 90% mental and the other half is physical. Or did Yogi Berra already say that?
I think the crowd probably got to Bennett some. I know I've never heard a crowd that loud for a field goal or 3.
I was listening to the radio during the game. They said that the Georgia players came out and surrounded the Eye and were, from all apparent indications, getting ready to "pull an Auburn" and start stomping on the Eye. Then, the Georgia coaches stepped in and prevented the players from doing this - perhaps because they realized that they may face the same 15 yard penalty faced by Auburn. In either event, it was a good move by the Georgia coaches - they showed A LOT more class than Tell-a-Tubby and his band of weekend parolees.
That is not true. They usually end up going to the 40-45 in Sanford and stand around coach Richt and start jumping and holding their helmets high. They were never going for the eye.
I thought it was #84 the offensive lineman for GA.. I thought the off. lineman for UGA, #84 was the one that incited the crowd in the South Stadium to cheer lounder. I could be wrong, but it seemed rather ##### to me and it backfired. We walked over to watch UGA debus and they struck me as rather #####, but I guess 9 straight road wins will do that to you. Anyway, humble pie tastes bitter, hope the Tigers don't have to eat a helping of it.
