Of course I agree. Saban is one of the great coaches in all of football. So freaking what though. He's not here now.

The whining about WWSD makes us look like Bama fans and their Bear Bryant infatuation. Turn the page already, even if the story takes a downturn.

That is the source of my frustration. We went from having on of the best coaches to all of football to someone that sits on and blows a 21 point lead in one the biggest games of the year.

WWSD - for some reason that made me laugh - thanks (I think), but the reference to us looking like a bama fan is way off. I know that was an exaggeration on your part, but I do not think Saban is comparable to a guy that has been dead for 20 years that still finds a way to pay thousands of dollars to his teams QB's, RB's, and favorite strip joints (ROLL TIDE).

Like I said before, I am pissed about the loss and if/when I have a cool head I may regret some of the things I said, but for now I will keep "whining".

Hey, fair enough. Can you at least be happy for us Dolphins fans that we've got him now? :hihi::thumb:

I just think clock management was key...

we are up TWO scores with 7 mins left... 3rd and 8... Tenn has ONE timeout...

If you run a draw and get nothing, then punt... they got to score twice on long fields in 6:30...

We get cute, throw an INT, then give them one of their scores...

I mean hindsight is 20/20, and he didnt KNOW we would throw an INT... I just think we had a little bad game management...

Hell yeah! I wish the Saints could have got him, but that is for a different tread at a different time. I will be in Death Valley cheering for Saban on October 30.

Here are the 5 things that I just don't understand (in no particular order).

    1. No confidence in the offense?

    2. Why didn't Skylar Green get the ball more?

    3. What happened to the blitz in the second half?

    4. Two passes down field?

    5. They had 8 in the box, and we still tried to run it down the middle. Do we have any audibles?

Also, does the coaching staff know what the hell they are doing? Don't tell me its transition, or growing pains. Rick Clausen was way down our depth chart, and he goes to Tennessee and gets the proper coaching and picks us apart. Our QB coach sucks!!!

The only play call I TOTALLY disagreed with was the fullback dive in OT... to me, that was a wasted play

The officials also missed a holding call against UT in OT also.

Bottom Line is that Miles is never going to lead us to the Promised land..he's a great guy..but not a Big Time College Football Coach..he looked like a little child during The Collapse..And Pelini is still shell shocked from that USC beating so he continues to play his defensive backs 12 yds away from WR's (to avoid Matt Leinhart's repeated deep balls, even though Steve Walsh..err..Rick Clausen was QB)..Fire Pelini and Miles..Hire Pat Hill..I'm out for good..this is my last post..unless he chokes away the Auburn Game with a 45 point 4th quarter lead..Goodnight To All..you've been great

these are two talented, albeit ineffective, teams that were very evenly matched. there were many mistakes made BY BOTH TEAMS, but in the end clausen was the difference in the game. our d played very well. i dont know enough to know if pellini's system is the best for this team, but the d played well. there were a few/several mental errors, but not out of the range of what is expected in the second game with a new system.

in the end, JR is not the chosen one. lsu should stick with him and he should develop into a consistent, and even stellar QB, in the future, but he is not now. seems similar to randall, even flashbacks to booty.

all is not lost. this is a good team that may even win out, but i doubt it. the next NC will have to wait til more pieces are in place. enjoy the rest of the season. this team will play hard and beat many good teams.
