it'll be nice to put this one to bed! people once considered us having a dual QB system. don't know how one can think that after the last game.
He may say that now but you don't have that revelation while in an airport terminal about to board a plan. He and his family broke down about their baby leaving.
At LSU he'd have been a freshman next season along side two redshirt freshmen in Rivers and JR. So assuming Mett starts 2012 and 2013, he'd be in a 3-way battle to be the starter in 2014. At ND, he'll only have one redshirt freshman alongside him next season (a 3-star black dual-threat QB), so when their two QBs who will be juniors in 2012 are gone in 2014, he will only be looking at a 2-man battle at QB. Also, LSU's 3 current QBs are unproven, so all 3 could turn out to be great, while at ND, 2 of their 3 current QBs played this year (Rees and Hendrix, both 3-stars by Scout.com) and both of them showed they need a lot of improvement and both sucked in the bowl game to finish the season, so there is a good chance Kiel could be their starter next season as a true freshman.
Notre Dame seemingly signs a 5* QB every other year, and it doesn't take long for their name to be forgotten. Maybe it's because I'm not old enough, but Notre Dame will never be "Notre Dame" to me. I don't really get the appeal to all these highly touted players.
