Gonna go out of a limb here, I'd take an LSU QB Matt Flynn over a ND Quinn or Clausen in the NFL.

No joke, Dad. Just plain old hard nose never-been-heard-of kids who WANTED to come to LSU and who worked hard and kept their commitments.

I said on another post, these kids today, and the parents who raised them, don't know what the hell commitment means.

It would be the first time in a long time LSU passed effectively on anybody. :D

Rumors have it that Mom put her foot down and told him it was going to be closer to home and ND was the plan.
Shame on LSU for not finding a girl friend for him that was coming to LSU.

IMO the kid/family are a bunch of douche bags... Had they shown an ounce of respect and honesty to LSU, we'd still have a prized OL coming in. Thanks to them we lose two highly touted recruits... phukem, let the kid play for a perennial loser program, when we win the 2012 NC we can send a "too bad you didn't come here" card.

How about we do what NDers did and sagely assure each other that he's low-character scum of the earth guttertrash. We'll also have to follow ND's lead and assure the country that we COULD have had him if Les Miles was willing to lower is moral standards. Then step 3 is to point to GK's enrollment in another school as further proof that he must be a villain - being as Les Miles always gets who he wants, and we didn't get him, he must have really been ethically defective.
