    Someone should be shot for not showing the action on that touchdown pass.

    Hawkins shut down LaFell with the help of some poor passing by Texas and even more help from Al Jones. Jones was player of the game imo. Holliday showed some speed and a couple of good moves, he'll be better with good players around him.

    Yes....Al J can contribute somewhere next year. Agree about TH. LaFell needs a RS year.

    Hawkins too - he needs to be coached up, I saw him take several plays off, even when the ball was in his area. He did not overly impress me, but he never got beat deep that's for sure - mainly because the QB never had more than 4 seconds before Jones was in the backfield tickling him.

    I wouldn't put too much stock in this game. Good, nor bad. Ever see a lack-luster performance by an NFL pro-bowler??? Talk about guys taking plays off!

    This game is for the players to showcase some skills and have fun. Nothing more.

    That's true, you can't read a helluva lot into Hawkins taking some plays off, but what can't be disputed is what it says about Al Jones that he didn't.
