Holiday unimpressive on his first two returns. On his first return, he was stuffed. On his second, he tried to run east-west and got caught from behind. Tennessee signee Lucas Taylor looks like the best LA player on offense. I think Saban didn't recruit him because of attitude or off-field, but I may be remembering that wrong.
I think it was mostly the lack of scholarships. He was probably close. I know they questionsed his size and he wasnt that impressive at WR at the LSU camp. He is really good though.
Problem with this game is that while both teams dont have the top recruits fromt heir respective states, Texas is so much bigger than Louisiana so they have more depth. So missing some of their stars doesnt hurt them as much as La.
Jones is in a different class than most everyone on the field, he's beating his blocker(s) on 8/10 plays. Haven't seen much from Lafell, but is that because of Hawkins or poor QB play from Texas..? Not sure, the camera hasn't shown Hawkins on Lafell very much.
CG.......whats going on with Ricky Dixon? LSu still on him pretty good? When will he make a committment? Also....the big OL (forgot his name), is LSU recruiting him pretty hard? Is he thinking they will offer?
La. team looks like the slightly better team to me, let's hope one team takes over in the 2nd half so we can see some action.
