No. I meant for the teams to play off immediately after the season. The winners play the NC, and everybody else gets to play in the bowls, including the losers of the playoffs. Actually, they still would get a BCS bowl, just not the NC.
I think if a playoff was going to happen, I would support a 4 team playoff. I just can't see involving teams with more than 1 loss. But I still feel we have the best system in place, that doesn't hurt the meaning of the regular season and undfeated seasons. It is designed to give us the top two teams after the season for a NC title game.
