Think of it like this... LSU routinely recruits Top 5 recruiting classes, Arkansas can't recruit a Top 10-15 class, yet Miles is 6-5 vs. the Pigs. Everyone knows the LSU game plan, and Miles is too stubborn to evolve with the game. Until his mentality changes, or we find a new HC... we're stuck with 7-8 W' a year.
You didn't see the junior exodus really reach a biblical nature until after the NC drumming in Jan 2012. It's odd how getting smoked by Alabama year means more juniors leave early for the NFL.
That's because all of the LSU players with the ability to go pro know playing for the Outback bowl is as far as they're going to go under Miles, so they cut their losses and make that money.
Of that exodus the only players that should have went were PP7, OBJ, and Landry. All the others should have stayed another year to improve their stock. This year we probably lose White, Beckwith, and Alexander for certain. I also wouldn't be surprised if Dural leaves.
We are getting out coached. Thats is the easiest answer i can give you. LSU and Bama recruit the same players for the most part. We recruit better than Arkansas and still get beat by them 2 years in a row now. ( So my conclusion is ,either Miles is incompotent or he just don't give a shit.
