i am sure this has been mentioned, but because of what happened to us last year dropping out of a new years day bowl, it will not happen again. The loser of the Championship game has some guarantees that were done by the SEC.
First off I might be a NOOB as far as this message board is concerned but Im far from a NOOB when it comes to football. Ive been watching football for many, many years. I love LSU football as much as anyone here. I watch a ton of other ball. I didnt like the calls at all, but LSU had oppertunities that it squandered or coaching misques. Those lose games, you cant depend of calls, especially when on the road. Next year, with a home friendly schedule for our big games LSU will probably get the calls it didnt get last year.
I too always pull for the SEC when they play out of conference. I really hope the SEC teams can go out and play as well as capable. Im sick of the criticism the SEC is under as of late. Its by far the best conference and I hope we can show it in the bowls.
Not only are you new here but to make a statement that refs dont influence who wins games may be the most ignorant thing i have ever read. You might want to watch some more football and take some notes.
i guess you misunderstood my question. i didn't say you were crying about the rose bowl, i just wanted to know who you thought should go if not LSU. it's all semantics.....you say 3rd in the west. i say 5th in the country, winners of 6 in a row, having beaten 2 top 8 teams on the road in the last month.
Looks like we have someone running for President here. If the referee's had the integrity your talking about we would be looking back at an LSU win and those other things you pointed out wouldnt matter to much. I take responsibility for my actions and i understand that life isnt always fair. It is ok with me that you cant understand the intricate workings of a football game and so i have decided to blame you for the Auburn loss. Maybe the truth is you are one of those worthless officials that called our game and cost us a victory. So my truth is from now on i will blame you for every loss we have in the future. I guess it comes across sour since you are from Auburn (no offense Aubie). This speaks to how flawed the system is really - now I do think LSU is better then both Auburn and Florida right now, but fact of the matter is we did lose to both schools very early in the season...........as a pure college football fan I am more upset that ND gets a free pass because they are a cash cow and play crappy football. good luck in your bowl - I am hoping for Cotton for you guys.
that was pretty damned funny. i had no idea what saban fans weird picture was until this. and here i was thinking a froot of the loom mutant. can someone find out if freud was born and raised in alabama or a connection of some sort? thanks ive always liked that little meter and it certainly applies to that statement.
