    Who are the closest players to the number? It would be nice if you mofo's could guess but not a damn one of you have any integrity and that includes you @tirk cause you will look it up and then claim that you knew it.

    We know @lsutiga or his buddy @Bayou Tiger don't have a clue, hell I'd be amazed if they guessed someone that was still playing.

    I heard it the other day but I can't remember who. Albert Pujols who be my guess but I think he already has 3000.

    Not being an avid MLB fan, I find it hard to believe Albert is already 39 years old. Don't know how much longer he plans to play, but I hope he wants the HR record. Cheatin' Barry needs to be knocked off that pedestal. Albert trails by 111, by the way.

    I don't follow MLB as closely as I used to. I would have also guessed Pujols. 3,000 hits is a hell of an achievement. OK, Shane reveal the identity.
