I have sorta grown to respect Mississippi state this year. I heard they were great hosts to our fans. They are in an uphill battle to be relevant but you have to admire their spirit. They were gracious in losing that I can remember. I hate listening to the bells, though. They have tried to lift their fanbase and restore some degree of respect to the program. I don't hate them like I do fl, au or bama. I feel sorta sorry for them. They are lil fish swimming in an ocean of sharks. They will always struggle in the sec west but they still have had full stands, even when the fans knew that they had little to no chance.
Fear not. Although your irelevance has been a source of great joy to me, as long as I can breathe there will be an irrational hatred of Notre Damn flowing through my veins. A new tradition among my group is to start our LSU viewing parties with high fives all around to celebrate another Notre Dame defeat and the resultant egg splattered on the Granny Holtz prune that sets atop his neck.
I'm sure there is a little more rivalry between Oregon and Boise but when we went for TCU game I can truly say I have NEVER seen nicer fans. We have been to lots of venues over the years. Easily the worst were Oklahoma in 05 and USM.
Losing to Boise state. Oh the humiliation. I can't hardly think of a more humiliating thing to happen for a team that imagines it's a relevant powerhouse. I think it would be better to lose to northern Kentucky than to Boise state. You know you're a pretender and no contender when you lose to boise state blue smurfs from Idaho
I "ABSOLUTLY REFUSE" to believe in any way that LSU faked any injury. LSU is man enough to stand up face to face to ANYBODY. To me that is an insult.
HATE: TEXAS - Arrogant and entitled fan base and athletic department TEXAS A&M - A cult very strange and creepy fan base. By far one of the most prejudiced fan bases of all time. The Ole Miss of the Big 12. Notre Dame - obvious reasons Miami (FL) - Absolute worst of college football, it is a pro version of a college football team. Their fans are the biggest bunch of bandwagoners of all time. When you can't sell out a game on a regular basis unless your 12-0 is a sad statement. The "U" thing is overdone and I will be glad to finally see them disappear from the landscape after the NCAA is through with them SEC - Pretty much anyone else in the conference except Vandy. With special additional hate for Alabama, Auburn, and Ole Miss. Nebraska - Tom Osborne was and still is the biggest hypocrite of all time. I am ok with you allowing seedy characters to play for your football team, but don't sell yourself as a preacher or reverend. Oklahoma - Any team that their mascot is a cheater and they wear it proudly. Easily one of the biggest cheaters of all time. OK with and will actually cheer for when not playing LSU WVU - I don't know I have always liked them since the Major Harris days. I will admit that Holgerson is a whiny b!tch though. Washington State - I was always impressed back in the day that they could win out in the lonely outpost of Pullman, WA. Syracuse - I always enjoyed the McNabb teams and they have a history of success (not recent) but I think the former Saints coach has them on the right track. Service Academies with especially Navy and Air Force. I love those offenses that they run and are able to achieve a decent level of success based off discipline and smarts.
