DONT LIKE Auburn - Used to have a lot of respect, games always came down to the wire. It barely bothered me that they've had two undefeated seasons that didn't matter because of probation. But then they started showing their ass under Tubberville and $Cam Newton was the straw that broke the camel's back. USC - Used to kinda respect them until the split NC thing. Got tired of Pete Carroll real quick, and Lane Kiffin is worse. Cheated with Reggie Bush, glad they got penalized and lost their split NC. Alabama - Arrogant SOBs. Annoyed that Saban went to coach there. Texas - Arrogant SOBs. Take joy in their head coach kinda suckin. A&M - Don't like those guy cheerleaders very much; also kinda arrogant. Georgia - I'm not impressed by Richt. LIKE Moo U - Like Dan Mullen and ingenuity. Really like our winning streak. Ole Miss - Like the risky hire of Freeze. Don't really like Ole Miss, but I respect the hire. I imagine their fans will get annoying if they start winning. LaTech & ULL & Tulane & SU - Their fans get mad at LSU, but I like when they have success. Still can be pretty annoying though. Especially the UL thing. ULM - Always cheer for them to succeeed and don't seem as annoying. Whatever small school is having success - Usually cheer for the up and coming coaches that do better than they should. Have some respect for Boise St, but really you could improve that joke of a schedule you have. Vandy & Kentucky & S Carolina - Like it when they're doing pretty well. Would be glad to see the Gamecocks turn the corner. Arkansas & Missouri & Tennessee - Mostly like. Glad to see Missouri come to the SEC, really hate that they're going to the east. Petrino is a dork. Like Dooley though I wonder if he's the answer. Florida - Not impressed with the hire. Had to live with Florida fans in Jacksonville for a few years, hated losing to them (we did often) but they usually weren't too bad to deal with. It always made me happy when Tebow cried.
Old Hate: Ohio State - smug fans who can't believe that everyone doesn't love the Buckeyes Virginia Tech - OVER-rated every year yet still manage to make a BCS bowl Bama - Nick Saban and Bama fans New Respect: Boise St - have put together an incredible program with a great coach despite the fact that they play a measly schedule for the most part, got screwed out of the Sugar Bowl IMO Baylor - Glad to see a small school beat up on the Big 12 the way they did Clemson - put together a very good season
5. Notre Dame 4. Ohio State 3. West Vagina 2. Florida 1. Alabama personally they should open the superdome shove all the players and coaches from each of these teams in there, lock the doors and make them all fight to the death.
Nickb i understand a dislike for Arkansas for the fans, but to say we have a low football IQ is ridiculous.
Same here. And regarding your last comment, people put differences aside in times of crisis, thankfully. It echoes what you said above about just being tied to pride in what we love. I think, like most, people tie "hate" to things that "get in the way" of our "wants." I've never found Arkansas fans to be anything other than kind and pleasant people. Who hates Vandy, raise your hand.
I dont really hate any team (besides USC) some teams just grind my gears which means has really aggrovated me lately!!!
Lamichael James said they deserved the rematch because they scored the most points of any of our opponents:wave:
It's depressing that Notre Dame was only mentioned a few times. It's a sad sign that shows how dormant we've been for the past 20 years. Here's to hoping that we begin to piss people off again in the future. I can't really think of any team to put up on a hate list. I enjoy college football, and will find myself pulling for just about any team during a random game, but usually an underdog. Those smaller programs also are the ones that typically gain my respect during a season.
I am a certified who dat !!!! My second favorite pro team was Oakland in the late 60s and early 70s... Belitnekoff, Blanda, Jim Otto, Lamonica, Casper...etc. Herb (my brother) and I learned more than six new curse words when we were watching the "Heidi Bowl" with our dad. Their fan base has changed a lot and I don't like the change (Thuggery), but I am a throwback Raiders fan. Saints were always number one no matter how bad they were. Saintslogo
