Thing about that is Les will always be remembered for his accomplishments but when you try to put O and Miles together you have to consider Miles fall.

Confusing since you said coordinators since both eras needed them to succeed. Don't think either HC could have won without there cast.

I think there is a huge difference between being a good coach & one that is not really involved.

Did Miles win a NC with a record breaking Heisman QB? His teams were flat out tougher

In your honest opinion, could 15-0 have happened this year? Love me some Miles, he is a movie star these days. After LSU he became an interview star. Could he have made the changes necessary? Honest opinion and no rebuttal.

 

Yes, had he been given any support by the AD or the BOS, I think he would have gotten it in 2018. I saw the recruiting class he had lined up in 2017. Most didn't sign with O.
