Yeah, if you're going to bring physics into it . . .

Granted .. the O has problems. Too many passes dropped and passes not thrown well ..... but .....

you simply can't run up 400 yards when you start on the 50 yrdline every series.

I saw the same pattern as we've seen all year. [with commentary]

First .... Jefferson .... punt [bad play call ... 3 yrd pass when you need 8]
Second ...Jefferson .. punt [incomplete pass]
Third .. Lee .. FG [2 incomplete passes ... Sheppard and Randle]
Forth .. Lee .. FG [dropped pass by TT ...]
fifth .. Jefferson starting on the ULM 12, .. TD
Sixth .. Jeffeson .. punt. [inc pass RR ... this would have been a run in normal circumstances, as it was for only 1 yard ... must have been a practice call ]
Seven ... Lee ... FG [2 inc passes to TT .. who's becomming known for such]
Eight ..... Jefferson .... punt. [sacked]
    _____________________________________ second half

Nine .... Jefferson ... TD [one of the rare completions of the game to TT]
Ten ... Lee ... punt [2 inc passes and a sack]
Eleven ..... Lee ...TD ... [another rare pass completion]
    Twelve .. Jefferson .... TD
thriteenth .... Freshman QB .... runs ... end of game.

    I see three things.

    1) The WRs need to run their routs better to give the QBs a throw
    2) The QBs need to throw the ball well, to increase chance of reception
    3) The WRs need to catch the damn ball when its within reach.

LSU solves that ... they can beat anyone

    Not a bad idea.

But when the play is so low percentage that you actually prevent your QB from getting further reps because now you're punting, you're defeating the purpose of the mission.

On 2nd and 2, throw a 30 yarder, I would be pleased, even giddy. On 3rd and 2, get the first down with as safe a play as possible so we can have 3 more downs. That's 3 more opportunities to throw the ball vs what we did, which is force ourselves to punt.

Crowton playcalling 101- never do the smart thing

There was no fluke. There must have been a gust of wind or something that caused the pages in the playbook to turn.

Someone just needs to remind Crowton to turn the page now and then.

Do people really think that WE WOULD REALLY THROW THE BALL on 3rd and 2 in a HIGH STAKES GAME?

Come on guys. This was just a game to try some chit out. All we learned is just how over hyped our QB's and WR's really are..

The defense played well enough, our lack of offensive production is what lost the game.
