I agree. I was going to post something similar in the game thread, but those things get out of control. We played better as the game went on, which I mostly attribute to working out first game jitters. Jayden Daniels looked more and more comfortable, and the OL was actually giving him some time, resulting in 3 TD drives in a row to end the game. Of course, FSU going to prevent late helped. I'm adjusting my prediction from 8-4 to 7-5, though. I still think we go 4-4 in the SEC. FSU is probably roughly equivalent to a middle of the pack SEC team. Well he damn sure wasn't doing us any favors out there, so good riddance if so. I have never cared for his attitude, he always seems so bothered.
And that is why, despite Daniels running ability, I would rather go thru the learning curve pains with Nussmeier at the helm. He has more upside and his skillset makes the most of our offensive strength @ the wide receiver position.
Good QB helps the OL. Not sure play calls helped. Denbrock doesn’t instill confidence. There is a dedicated QB coach, for god’s sake.
He seems like he's mentally checked out. I hope I'm wrong. That said, if he's going to be a problem, we're better off without him. I don't understand his attitude.
He quit last year, it just so happens someone was able to talk a young kid into staying where he didn't want to be. This guy is not involved and needs to be shown the door.
Unless he is, in fact, a pussy, which could be the case. He certainly pouts like a spoiled little girl. ETA: But as a girl, I don't like the implication that having one makes one a...well, you know the rest.
I agree. I thought, along with a huge number of LSU fans, that BK would turn the program around over night. Focus & intensity wise I think the team has responded. After watching the game last night it's obvious that we still have problems in all three phases of the game. Our coaches & players both need to a better job of preparing & executing. Hindsight being 20-20 perhaps we all set the bar too high. Time will tell.
