Lanky corner out of Georgia commits tomorrow. His film shows that he is taller than everyone else on the field and faster, in high school of course. Looks to be Baton Rouge bound.

Apparently announced he's flipping to Clemson during halftime of our game tonight.

What I heard too, flipped during halftime.

Huge miss. This kid can really play, tall (6'2") lanky with great instincts. Too bad on this one.

He is a stud, but we’re getting a fairly close replacement soon in Damarius McGhee(I think that’s how you spell it).

Two of the reasons he listed for flipping were 1. Clemson's player development, 2. Closer to home. There were others, but for him to list #1 when no school puts more DBs in the NFL than LSU tells me the really important one was #2, and he was just giving other reasons to save face. Which I don't think was really necessary, nothing wrong with being a homebody. Just wish, as usual, these kids would not make their commitments public and then flip. At least he didn't say "respect my decision (to prove I don't know what the word commitment means)"

I find myself listening to T-Bob Hebert more and more. Ever hear the phrase "the true test of a man's intelligence is how much he agrees with you?" I hear him saying a lot of things I've been saying about the current situation, the applicable one here being, LSU has to get more active in recruiting offensive linemen. He also made an interesting point in that regard the other night. LSU, he said, can travel 100 miles in any direction and find all of the skill position players it needs (not necessarily QB's but I see his point). Its offensive line where they really need to be reaching out and pulling them in from elsewhere.
