1. I imagine be saw the D lineman we were pulling and decided to open up. Maybe the coaches let him know that he might be out if we get the additional big names we are looking at. Not sure.

  2. I don’t have a firm grasp on the decommitts abilities in relation to others, but a lot of others are in line to take him.
  3. I saw where the 4 star DE from Live Oak HS decommited. Maybe he saw the handwriting on the wall and looked to go elsewhere for more playing timed

  4. He’s definitely good, but not better than the other DTs we have on board.

  5. This is just the tip of the iceberg.

Expect at least 3 more decommits to make room for "the big boys".

This will be by far the best class in LSU history.

LSU will end up with 9 of the top 47 players in the nation. That's just short of an obscene 20%.

    Just let that sink in.

  6. So you are saying guys we currently have committed will drop off so we can take someone "better" is that how we are doing it?

  8. You got it. There's always a spot for a Patrick Peterson or a Leonard Fournette no matter how many you have committed.

  9. Yes that's the official term.

If you want to be the absolute best, it's a mandatory thing.
  10. Well those would be the players you take at the last second and get rid of the "less desirable" recruits.

Now where this obviously gets dicey, like in this case, is telling a Louisiana kid to hit the road. Are you eventually going to burn a bridge with a school?
