He lost LSU's spot as a Top Game against Bama, now were back to the 90's afternoon slot, in Tuscaloosa. To get to the NC by "Running the table", O with the help of a 28 year old wonder boy, has to beat 3 SEC Coaches he's never beaten. (4 if you count cupcake Vandy's Mason) Saban, Mullen & Fisher. If he does that, he gets to face a pissed off Kirby Smart & if he survives that, then a highly ranked Game #1 Playoff Coach {Saban again?) And if he can. somehow dispatch of Saban, for the 2nd time, then he probably gets to face Dabo Swinney in Game #2, the NC game.. Just seems a bit more than 1 Bama win..
You're probably right for that weekend but you also have to look at the season as a whole. They could have done the double header that weekend but they'd also be broadcasting UGA in back to back weeks (UGA hosting Mizzou that weekend.) I'd think it's more of a scheduling situation than anything based on last years game.
That and the fact that CBS gets to show Notre Dame in a top 10 matchup in prime time. It will get more national ratings than LSU vs Alabama unless both the Tigers and the Tide are both in the top 5 by gametime.
The only reference we have is the '17 season and the LSU vs Bama game outdrew UGA vs ND by a wide margin. Over 2.5M watched the latter versus the former. When CBS announced their double headers they included that game along with UT vs UF. I'm wondering why not AU vs A&M.

That's such a screwed up case. Skimming over the original report they cited speed and then said he had a line of coke on his car? How's a line going to stay on a car if it's going above the speed limit, on a highway? ...after passing his drug test. This one is going to be dismissed more quickly than ____________?
