It’s time to start talking about the upcoming 2019 season. So far, projections have LSU winning 9-10 wins. That’s a safe guess based on the last 15 seasons. Good enough, but not good enough to get us over the hill for an SEC championship or playoff spot. Apparently College Football News didn’t even put Joe Burrow in their top 30 QBs for this season. I expect this thread to devolve into the usual Ensminger sux... I get it. He’s old. 2019 is a make or break season for the offense. In other news, Les Miles and Kansas is projected to win only 3 games this year. I hope the old mad hatter can pull an upset or two
I think the Texas game will be the best barometer for the season. Win at Austin handily and I think we could be looking at no worse than 10 and 2 and a good shot at the playoffs.
it's a 6 game season: Texas, Florida, Auburn, Moo U, Alabama, Texas A&M we should win at Austin as they are replacing a buttload Florida, Auburn, Texas A&M all at home = should be wins.... Moo U & Bama on the road. If looking for a let down circle Moo U if we don't win 10 going into the bowl turn the page we'll lose to bama and someone we shouldn't
Vegas has LSU as a 1/20 (5%) chance of winning the national championship. It’s nice to be included in the conversation.
Looks like LSU will probably be ranked 7th in the preseason polls. Texas will probably be 10th. 7 vs 10 in week two.
