Is Mathis seriously our best option at catcher?

 

He hasn't had a day off. He's fucking worn down. He's our only catcher bc Garza can't hit a curve and is recovering from knee injury. So yes. Surprised he's able to stand. He's had the shit beat out of him.

 

That sucks. Two catchers who can't hit!

I dont necessarily mind the lack of hitting as much as not being able to throw people out and protect home plate.
