2019 LSU Baseball Season

Mississippi St. Has scored 59 runs is their last 4 games and allowed 25.

Gonna be a tough series no matter how well we play

 

Going to be hard to win without scoring runs.

 

Can't help but look back to the 2017 season about this time to see the exact same problems. I'm trying to be optimistic, but chasing a rodent around the outfield or something similar is gonna have to happen.

 

Duplantis just about need a slump buster.

 

He needs to put the voodoo back in his bat.

 

He needs to pound whatever it is Hess got ahold of.

 

From everything I have seen so far, if there was a conference of all Louisiana teams LSU would be in the middle of the pack. 4 hits and no runs vs McNeese is inexcusable. Nobody in the lineup can hit with runners in scoring position.

Going from #1 to probably not even hosting a regional is rock bottom. Who is the hitting coach? As much as we criticize Alan Dunn it's the hitting coach who should be fired. We ard LSU, not a f**king rec team. It's time to start playing like it. No matter how good the pitching is scoring 8 runs in an SEC series is not going to win many games.

 

Please, don't let Dunn off the hook. 40% of all pitchers are either broke or a basket case. Remember Gilbert? Been a minute, but his deal is all mental.

Players only meeting last night after getting shut out by the cowboys. We'll see

 

I'm not letting Dunn off the hook by any means but dammit we need more hits when they count.

 

So isn’t C Paul respsonsible? This seems like the last years of CLM. He’s stubbornly sticking with Dunn and hasn’t filled the hole in his offense. He continues to recruit well yet how much improvement do we see
