Yea but you are ignoring the SOS. I can assure you LSU is not a last place in the West type of team. The same as Tenn is not better than UF or Vandy. Bama has played a joke of a schedule.

I'm not ignoring anything. RPI's are released next week, so SOS is simply opinion at this point. All that is there is W/L. Pretty simple and a little premature to include anything else until those games are played.

So then why not use the rankings?

Because I mentioned the SEC, none of which we have played yet. I over simplified team records by W/L which is the only metric that can be used when everyone is 0-0 before any actual play.
