Is he any good though? Averaged only about 2 points per game at UCLA. Unlike the sons of great football and baseball players and NASCAR drivers who are usually pretty good even if they don't become as great as their dads, the sons of great hoops players tend to be pretty mediocre.

he was a high 4 star out of high school. his rankings was 41 nationally. for reference, darius days, who is a solid SEC starter with NBA aspirations, was 62 overall. shareef should be an above average SEC player, which is great. you only need a few dudes and you win alot of games.

shareef had a really big surgery. something big involving his heart. he was done for a year. thats a big deal getting a year behind. he was working his way back into it, but he wasnt getting any playing time.

he is very tall, a solid 6'9 but looks bigger to me, and he can shoot and is fairly smooth with the ball. combine him with some of the boys coming next year and they should be dangerous.

Even if he is only average his presence here might cause his daddy to increase the amount of money he donates to the program.

The heart issue and open heart surgery really derailed a promising and quality career before jump. Being opened up is devastating on the body,I know from experience. It helped he was so young though. It'll take over a year just for your body to somewhat recover from that kinda surgery. He will fit in well with Wade's love of size and skill.

29-38 30s in the first. Not good so far. Wow, we had 30s to put together a play, smart ends up jacking up a contested shot.

    29-40, pathetic.

I didn't keep up with anything enough to know if he is any good or not. Will Wade and this team will help him find his path. Emitt Williams, Darius Days, he is another big frame. He will be fine! lol

This team is up and down like a Yo-yo lately kinda like the first half of the season. I hope they play better the second half. Disappointing so far.

LSU looks outclassed by a 13-11 Bama team.
