Manning is a piece but I think this is overstated, except that Hyatt and Graves (and Bishop and Cooper) ain’t doing shit. I guess it’s another legit piece that could elevate everyone‘s game just by spreading out the minutes a bit. Our jump shots and 3s aren’t fucking there. Our defense isn’t there. In WW’s defense, he’s outperforming my expectations to this point; I still blame a ton of this on Alleva and F**KING. One benefit - the crappier we look, maybe the more likely it is that guys will stay.
I think the scandal contributed in this years’ attendance. Then key losses have kind of killed momentum. The way the game unfolded last night was terrible from a PR perspective. WW has some responsibility for the lukewarm status of the program and I think he sticks it out if for no other reason than for the stain on his name.
having manning is huge. every minute he plays is a minute of rest for the core. playing SEC games twice a week is brutal and bros need rest. wednesday road game and then saturday game is harsh, mentally and physically. deeper rotation matters alot.
luke warm? defending SEC champs. sweet 16 without the coach. currently first place. thats not lukewarm its spectacular. this is the same conference with kentucky, the perenial monster powerhouse. 3 years of wade have been spectacular and a top 10 recruiting class is coming. thats not lukewarm!
