We used to have a saying at USNA,”If the minimum wasn’t good enough, it wouldn’t be the minimum.”

Unfortunately, OC-wise, E was not up to minimum standards last year, because he was passed over. Now, this year, he is good enough. What, football/ X&O-wise, has changed with E?

Maybe since this is probably Steve's last stop, he wont give a damn. Maybe he will pass it 92% of the time in an empty set. Thats what Id do.

Im sure Bama's OC thought he was getting fired at halftime of the championship game, so he said, lets be a God, and ran 4 verticals every play. Like a drunk teenager playing NCAA. You can do it, Steve.

Last year, O was forced into making a splash hire. This year he dug his heels in and got the man he wanted.

That makes him better than Canada already in my mind. He said all the right things in the presser. Now, he's just got to go show us 3-4 WR sets, RPO's, up tempo offenses, and adapting the Offense to what our QB can do and making the Offense better. Challenging, but not impossible with the talent we have coming back

Everyone is worried about quarterback development. How do we know that Ensminger cannot develop quarterbacks? But there's also no rule that the offense coordinator needs to be the quarterback coach. It might very well be that Ensminger continues coaching the tight ends, and we get a very knowledgeable coach to develop the quarterbacks.

You really think Orgeron's loyal to LSU?

He spurned us before to coach under Kiffen. He followed Kiffen everywhere. He tried twice to get Kiffen to come here.

    Just connecting the dots here...2+2=4.

If he’s so choked up then wouldn’t that mean he actually wanted the OC job all along? Word I heard was he was never interested in the gig. Does anybody in that building tell the truth?

They’re all mercenaries making a fat buck off the sweat of poor kids most of whom have never been to a real restaurant. The hyoocrisy has become nauseating.
