Also you will hear some things coming from the OU side about a coach (Austin Thomas) was instrumental in landing Phillips and Stevens out of Tennessee. They are making claims that he isn't allowed to be recruiting off campus which is normally true but they didn't fact check. Austin Thomas was given a waiver by the NCAA to do so given we fired Peveto and are one coach down. Wish that was a permanent arrangement but that man has enough on his plate and vital to LSU success in recruiting on and off campus.
Didn't we lose 2 wide receiver commitments? One may have been Stephen Guidry, and he came back, but I thought there was another.
Guidry was one and we went after the other Juco WR (Brandon Martin) who was going to enroll early. We missed on him and went back to Guidry given it didn't matter anymore if enrolling early. We prefered Martin because of that. Maybe that is what you are thinking or maybe I am forgetting another one.
