Ah, the ultimate non-committal answer. Apparently, you subscribe to the old Will Rogers saying about investing in the stock market
"Buy low, sell high. If it isn't low, don't buy it." I would call you a Monday morning QB but that is probably not accurate...more like Thursday morning QB.

    Because I'm bored,

Really? So you are saying Franks is it. Hands down we don't need to even look at another QB?

Let me tell you a story. MANY of the same crew that are crucifying Brandon Harris because of the Auburn start were at one time in his camp. Right about the same point in his career that Franks is right now. These guys were sucking his dick like they were drowning and his balls were filled with oxygen. Now they don't think he knows how to play at all.

Be careful with who you crown the next savior.

I have NO idea who the best QB in HS is...who is 2nd...who is 16th. They haven't even played their SR season yet. What I do subscribe to are camp evaluations. Franks went to mulitiple LSU camps which of course is where you can work out prospects. You can't get them to do squat on visits...illegal by the NCAA to do so. Thus, it falls on Cam Cameron. If he does the job, he keeps his. If not, a replacement is needed.

For the record, let me give you honestly my history of who to start at LSU in 2014 (BEFORE game day). I would have started Jennings through the NMSU game. Harris played well vs Miss State's 2nd string defense when they had that huge lead. However, the NMSU game was troubling where Jennings didn't do it against one of the worst teams in the NCAA. Harris did better for the 2nd game in a row. Thus, I said at the time to people that Harris should start against Auburn. But his performance was so hideous (3 of 14) while Jennings played better (5 of 10) that I would have put Jennings the starter once again as Miles/Cameron did. At that point, even the NOLA beat writers who had wanted Harris to start said not to start Harris. They heard about his lack of leadership, his lack of work ethic, his spending more time on social media than improving his play, him not knowing the playbook, his lack of poise and maturity, etc. When people who had been pushing Harris to start and wondering why in the hell he wasn't starting...and then all of a sudden flipping this position, 'nuff said.

Of course it typically makes more sense to commit to a school than a coach. However, geography changes that perspective. I can completely understand why a recruit who is considering a school across the country would feel more attached to a coach. They didn't grow up in that area, have no friends or family, their own family may not be able to travel to watch them play, etc. So, when the person they have formed a relationship/bond with leaves, the situation becomes way more uncertain. Home sounds a lot more appealing.

It wouldn't be Nick. Kiffin knows QB's and he can recruit them. He's an idiot but he does have at least one upside.

It has already been stated that they are going to take 2 quarterbacks in this class, it's what they want to do from now on

I think that is possible...at least for the next class, but of course there are certain guys (we might already know one) who would never be part of a 2 QB class. But it does happen...usually not say 2 out of top 8 or 10 QBs, but supposedly a stud already developed and then a more developmental QB. There is a huge risk about oversigning QBs. Some positions, the guys are patient and wait their turn to start. QB is NOT that position. The vast majority of the time, once they don't start, they are gone.

No, we need a two qb class. Franks may be great, or he may never play a down. Shea P has been pretty clear that he won't be a part of a 2 qb class with Franks. I don't even understand your argument. You say we should do whatever we have to do to get him. We have to cut Franks to get him. What do you suggest?

You convince him or an equivalent to come on with Franks. By whatever means.
