So in a nutshell, he is going to play where his brother is coaching at right? So this kid wants to be the only qb in the recruiting class of the school he picks? And when did he become all powerful and mighty to make such demands, I mean can someone say "drama queen"?
My points exactly!! And I try to be careful about assessing attitudes towards prospects when I personally have not seen him quoted such. Having made that disclaimer, it has been widely dissiminated from multiple sources that he wants to be with his brother and doesn't want another QB taken in the class with him. The FACT that he decommitted from Arizona when his brother left UA to join LSU pretty much increases suspicion about point #1. I want a mature guy with confidence in his abilities....so far, nothing that I have heard suggests either. F Franks supposedly said he didn't care what Patterson did...he is coming to LSU. THAT is the kind of guy I want. A guy with ability who has "a chest." Like I said, if I keep hearing supposed credible statements from Patterson like I have heard so far, I'm will refer to him by a new name....Gunner Kiel II.

Oh, in that case, I retract everything I said. Thanks for the link. You know the best thing, and I'm being serious here, is that Shea Patterson and Sean Patterson go their separate ways as far as colleges go. I see a big train wreck coming if they stay together. First, they are clearly going to be seen as a package deal which is never good. Second, what happens if Shea Patterson is QB where Sean Patterson is directly involved with the offense. What happens if Sean is a bust in fans' eyes? What happens if Shea is a bust? How is the blame going to be split...how is the other going to handle criticism of the other brother. The more I see this tied at the hip deal, the more this looks like a soap opera in the making and disrupting the team. Like I said, Sean leaves for LSU from Arizona and here comes Shea decommitting....didn't commit to LSU but certainly reneged on the AZ verbal. It is bad enough when a player follows a coach...much, much worse when a brother who is a player follows a dad or brother who coaches. that same team. YUK!!!
We all know what little Nicky would do. Since he exactly isn't loaded with integrity or honestly or accepting blame to begin with, if it works, he would take credit for everything, if it didn't work, Nicky would throw them under the bus faster than you can say "leave the program". And for good measure, little Nicky runsthe bus back and forth over their bodies a couple of times just to make sure. The all-time most classless thing I have ever seen in college football was when in the post-game press conference of LSU's loss to Iowa on the last play (50 yard TD pass) of the Capital One Bowl game, little Nicky calls out Ronnie Prude. Yeah, we had the right coverage but Ronnie Prude blew the coverage. This from a guy who had 2 timeouts left and Iowa had time for only one more play. Psst, genius coach, do what they do in basketball all the time. Call a timeout and make sure that everyone knows what they are supposed to do. Iowa loss = little Nicky's fault, NOT Ronnie Prude's.
